Jaminda Blackmon
Jaminda Blackmon is a New Haven based music teacher, voice teacher, vocalist, flautist, music director, playwright, director, and performer who has spent decades honing her craft. She has a B.S. Degree in Communications from Bridgewater State College and a Masters Degree in Theatre from Regent University. She has taught music, theatre, and dance for over twenty-five years, eighteen of them being in the New Haven Public School System. She is also the founder and director of the non-profit arts organization Jaye Faye Productions, where she has helped many performers achieve their musical goals. Jaminda is a voice scientist who has completed her first stage of certification with Estill Voice International. When not performing or teaching, Jaminda can be found spending time with her family and friends, in the kitchen cooking and baking, on a plane traveling, at home utilizing her Netflix subscription, or even catching up with her reading.
